With the Site Starter, you will have a top-notch website up-and-running on your very own domain quickly and easily!
Are you ready to create a presence online but are unsure how to get started? Do you have a limited budget and a willingness to do-it-yourself? With the Site Starter, you will be ready to begin creating content online quickly with a professional image.
Websites, such as Be Gee M, consist of a few main parts: the domain (www.begeem.com), the hosting space (where the site is stored), and the content itself. Content management systems make it easy for anyone to create and modify content on a website and with the Site Starter, you will get a blog or portfolio hosted on WordPress (a premier content management system) which you can then manage yourself.

Important information
- Domain names must be registered and generally cost around $9/yr. You are responsible for registering your domain–but don’t do it yet. You will use an affiliate link to register your domain through GoDaddy (the industry leader). This way, GoDaddy subsidizes the cost of getting your site up and running and allows me to offer the service to you at a reduced rate!
- You will need a hosting plan for your website. With the Site Starter, you have the option of hosting with Be Gee M. Blog hosting packages with Be Gee M are $3.50/month. An individual hosting account will generally cost $5 – $25/month, depending on host and package. By hosting your site through Be Gee M, you will receive the most affordable rate available and will subsidize the cost of your site setup. If you elect to use another hosting provider, I can still have your website up and running in no time but will need to charge a premium to recoup the lost subsidy.
- If you use an affiliate link to purchase your hosting package, the premium is only $22. If you already have a domain and/or hosting, or do not wish to use an affiliate, I will need to charge a $52 premium since the cost of services will be unsubsidized. Please make a note at checkout or by email.
