Asher Koleiboi envisioned the concept for a Legalize Trans* artistic & educational campaign, including a t-shirt, button, and sticker and asked me to create the web site to launch the campaign.
My answer was an immediate yes. I took his tshirt design and created a website to match the style of the shirt, created web graphics to allow fans to promote the site, integrated the project with Facebook, setup an eCommerce system, and implemented an affiliate program to allow other people to sell the shirt and keep a percentage of the retail price–enabling to raise funds for surgeries, health care, or other important causes.
The site launched on July 27 and already sold out its first run of shirts. A second edition shirt in red, buttons, and computer wallpapers are now available on www.legalizetrans.com. Follow @LegalizeTrans on Twitter for up-to-date announcements regarding the release.
