ION Media Networks hired me to create and produce a 30-minute entertainment news pilot show for their national television network. I hired a crew, wrote the script, produced short segments for the show, directed the studio taping, and managed post-production.
The show went through three stages: a 4-minute concept piece, Entertainment For You; a 15-minute test shoot, Movie Q; and the final 30-minute, 2-host, Hollywood.com TV. The network was not ready to begin producing its own original content.
